Here’s how I’m refreshing my home for spring that doesn’t require buying new furniture…
Let’s start with the obvious:
FLORALS: Fresh or faux, I love mixing both around my home. I normally do faux stems in my office and bedroom (I love cherry blossoms!) and fresh florals in my living room and kitchen. Trader Joe’s has amazing fresh flowers at a great price point. I saved some of my favorite spring florals to my Amazon Storefront.

DECLUTTER/SPRING CLEAN: We all love a clean and clutter-free home. I use this time to donate any of my clothes that just don’t fit my style anymore and I completely gut out my closet. My tip for determining what stays and what goes: if you love something and you wore it at least once in the past year and it still fits great, of course keep it. Same goes for anything sentimental. If you haven’t wore it in the past year, you try it on and still fits great but don’t know when you’ll wear it again, then donate. Or gift it to a family member! The same concept goes for home décor as well that you loved but your style has changed. Drawer organizers and shelf dividers also help – shop more of my organizational favorites here.
CHANGE UP YOUR SCENTS: I love getting new candles with fresher and lighter scents. I normally gravitate towards anything citrus or fruity like this Apotheke candle.

NEW PILLOW COVERS: I feel like this is a great and inexpensive way to add accents without going too overboard with new décor or breaking the bank. There are a lot of great pillow covers on Amazon! I like to add different patterns and textures but still keeping it neutral so I can reuse them the following year. I featured these pillow covers recently on Reels/TikTok. Other pillows I’m loving are here, here, here, here, here and here.
NEW ARTWORK: Switching up your cart can make a big impact on your space. Having the Samsung Frame TV makes this so easy to do. But I also love using Etsy to search for art that are printable and super budget friendly!
less obvious:
TAKE ON A NEW HOME PROJECT: We all have that project we’ve been putting off, big or small. Spring is time for renewal and new beginnings so it’s a great time to pick it back up and give your home a fresh look! For me, steaming my curtains and perfectly pleating them has been a project on my to-do list for quite some time and I’m planning to get to it this spring.
REARRANGE EXISTING FURNITURE: You’ll be surprised at how much of a difference this can make and really transform a room! Plus, it costs absolutely nothing which is always a bonus!
